Oooooh – I’m getting exciiiiiteeeed – it’s almost time for the Seattle Wedding Expo Jan 14 and 15!! Here are a few pics of previous wedding shows:
My goal is to create a jaw-droppingly beautiful experience for your wedding guests – and for you to be surrounded by flowery gorgeousness on your big day.
Here are a few things that might prevent you from getting that “big look” on a smaller budget: (more…)
Top it all off with the fact that I just didn’t “get” the theme I was assigned – “New York Picnic” – ugh… visions of highrises and sandwiches wrapped in cutsie paper…
I ran around in a panic buying multitudes of vintage picnic baskets, grapes and brie – apple pies and breadsticks – and ended up using none of it.
And I was inspired to make a table that was covered ENTIRELY in fresh springy moss – would people think I was nuts?!?
But of course everyone oohed and ahhed, and I got these fabulous photos. Loved it…
According to statistics from The Wedding Report, the average wedding in America has a price tag of just over $2,000.00 for flowers. Let’s look at how the money was spent, and how POSH pricing compares… (more…)
Here are a few photos from her wedding reception at C.I. Shenanigans – garden roses & hydrangeas made everything soooo romantic.
Since she chose pink, and the roses blooming in my garden are almost all pink, I got to play “Magic Flower Fairy” and scatter extra roses from my garden everywhere – what fun!

She’s one of those people who make you want to do lots of little extra things to surprise her because you know she will just gush over everything and be so appreciative… and I did, and she did, and all were happy ha ha
I made the cutest personalized stones with her wedding date for the guestbook, head table & gift table – it was a last minute inspiration and I was still drying them frantically with a hairdryer the night before, afraid they wouldn’t be useable, but they were!
And the idea has already been stolen… I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery… Here are some more photos: (more…)
As I’m helping brides decide how to best allocate their floral budget, I advise them to really stop and think about their guests. Where will they spend the majority of their time? Where will their eyes be focused most? (more…)
Here are some photos from the Tacoma Dome Spring Wedding Expo – Did I mention I LOVE wedding shows? I start dreaming and planning at least 4 months in advance.
My goal is for you to see an inspiring display of what “could be” for your wedding day. Brides love to walk in and just stand and take in all that lush, flowery gorgeousness.
